Fun Party Games For Direct Sales That Will Boost Your Business
If you're selling direct, all the money goes to the parties you host. You want the hostess and her guests to be as happy as possible, but at the same time, you need to educate them and get them interested in your product. You might also want to get the idea of one of them becoming a consultant. Board games can do all of this while entertaining guests. Here are some of our favorite games. Try them out and watch your business grow.
1) Bingo This is the most loved game of all time and an easy way to showcase a wide range of products to the team.
Create a bingo card by drawing a grid of
squares on a piece of paper. Write "Free" on the center box. Then write the names of your products in the remaining squares in random order on each bingo card and create yourself a deck with only one of the products on each card. You will use this deck to draw bingo “numbers”. You may want to bring samples of each product and display and talk about it when the product is drawn in bingo. As in regular bingo, the first person to tick a row of items wins a prize.
2) Get to know each other
This game is a good icebreaker, especially if most of the guests don't know each other. It can also give you clues as to who a potential customer might be.
Bring a bag of MandM around. Ask people to take as much as they want. Quickly ask them to count the number of candies in their hands. Then, each one in turn stood up and told as much about themselves and their family as they got from MandM. Of course, no one is allowed to eat their MandM until it's their turn.
3) How well do you know your mistress?
Give each of your guests a piece of paper and ask them to number it from 1 to 10. Then ask them to answer the following questions.
1) What is your hostess's favorite color?
2) If she could have a car, what would it be?
3) How many children does she have?
4) What is his favorite pastime?
5) Who is his favorite actor?
6) What is his favorite animal?
7) What is his favorite TV show?
8) What is his favorite food?
9) What is her favorite perfume or smell?
10) If you needed something, if she could, would your hostess give it to you?
After everyone has written their answers (including the hostess), reread the questions and ask the hostess to give everyone their answers. Other guests check their papers to see if they understood them well or not. The person with the most written answers wins a small prize or discount on their purchase.
You can edit and rearrange any question, but keep the last question intact. This provides a good advantage to mention that the hostess will get a free product if they buy a certain quantity and/or book their own party.
4) Left Right Game
This game is a great way to start a party, right before your presentation begins. Distribute one or two small gifts. Tell the guest that you will read them a story and that they must pass the gift to the person on the right when they hear the word "right" and to the left when you mention "left". Only the person who has the gift at the end of the story can keep it.
Here's the story:
I left the house and was on my way to the house (insert name of mistress). But I soon discovered that I had left my journey at home, right next to my phone! Well, I knew right away that I needed to go in the right direction to the house (insert the hostess's name), so I turned left and left and I turned right and went back to the house in the right direction. Sure enough, they were there, where I left them, right next to the phone.
Finally, I was on the right track. I arrived on time and prepared my presentation (insert your company name) right here. You all come and sit down. I'll go to work and tell you about (company name). I hope nothing will be forgotten. In a moment, I will introduce you to our new product line (insert your product type). If you're leaving home with the intention of buying a present tonight, you'll find that we have the right gift for everyone. Think of the upcoming birthdays and holidays, we don't want to leave anyone behind. I'm happy to help you find the right gift for that special someone.
(insert company name) has a return policy (insert number of days) days. When your item arrives, please inspect it immediately. If there's a problem, give me a call right away and you can be sure I'll take care of it right away. You don't want to end up with something you're not 100% satisfied with, do you? If you want to be a hostess and earn free and discounted items, now is a good time for you to explore throwing a party.
I enjoy being here with all of you tonight and I hope you have a good time too. I know you can't wait to see if we have the special item you're looking for, so without further ado, I'll get straight to the point of this party, show you our great products! So there's really nothing left for me to do but congratulate the winner, right?
